Can anyone be hypnotized?
Yes. In fact we all enter hypnosis throughout the day. Hypnosis occurs naturally when we become so deeply absorbed in a book or movie, that we lose interest in events that are happening around us. We also go into a state of hypnosis when we daydream and while we drive a car.

Michael opens each show with his inconceivable mentalism "miracles". Unbelievable things happen: Predictions made months before the show come true. Michael correctly reveals audience member's birthdays, phone numbers, and social security numbers - just by having volunteers concentrate on them.

Then, after Michael addresses some questions about hypnosis, he has 30-40 audience volunteers run up to the stage to be hypnotized. It is at that point the show really begins - your friends will instantly fall asleep at the snap of Michael's finger, and upon awakening they will forget their names, go on an imaginary journey to the Bahamas, turn into celebreties and have extreme hallucinations.
Hypnosis is best described as a state of focused and narrowed attention where the surroundings become unimportant. Hypnosis sometimes looks like deep relaxation, however it is not a sleep state. Hypnotic subjects are always fully awake and aware of what is going on around them.
